Earth day was celebrated in Lala Jagat Narayan dav model School

Jalandhar(02/05/2025): Earth day was celebrated in Lala Jagat Narayan DAV model School with great zeal and enthusiasm under the guidance of principal Dr.(Mrs. )Anita Nanda. Earth day is celebrated to spread awareness about environmental protection and acknowledge the global climate crisis. it is celebrated to make people aware of how they can be benefited by saving Earth from pollution,global warming and water scarcity. Principal Dr. ( Mrs.) Anita Nanda address the students on the occasion.She encouraged them to plant more trees to protect Earth from further harm and danger. Mr Ram Sharma (Retd.Principal of APJ School ,Nutritionist ) and Mr Manoj Kumar (Postal officer , Nutritionist) were the honorable guests. They addressed the students and share their views on healthy diet as well as how to protect our earth by taking small small steps.

Students enthusiastically participated in the save earth drive by planting trees, saplings of vegetables.

Students of class 8 and 10th delivered impressive speeches on the topic save earth .

Students of class 7th and 9th prepared posters and students of class 6 prepared things from waste material. 

The program was organised by Mrs Ekta under the supervision of coordinator Mrs Suman Sharma. 

The Earth Day celebration was a resounding success promoting environmental awareness and inspiring students to take action to protect the planet. The event concluded with an appreciation for the students' efforts and creativity.
