Jalandhar (22/11/2025): Readers should be aware that after the death of Richie KP, the only son of former Jalandhar MP Mohinder Singh KP, in a road accident, one of cars involved in the collision — a Grand Vitara driven by Vishu Kapoor — has become the subject of a major development. Vishu Kapoor was granted regular bail by the Punjab and Haryana High Court on 14/11/2025.
It is noteworthy that after the accident, Vishu Kapoor had remained admitted in the hospital from 14/09/2025 to 03/10/2025, where he was under treatment. Subsequently, on 03/10/2025, Jalandhar Police took him into custody and sent him to jail. This means Vishu Kapoor was lodged in jail from 03/10/2025 until 14/11/2025, and on 14/11/2025, the Hon’ble High Court released him on regular bail.
In this accident, Vishu Kapoor’s wife and daughter were also injured. Both of them were hospitalized from 14/09/2025 to 17/09/2025, after which they were discharged.
