Jalandhar(22/12/2025): Lala Jagat Narain DAV Model School celebrated its Grand Annual Function with great splendour and enthusiasm, echoing the powerful theme “Prayer, Perseverance and Proud Achievement.” The programme was organised under the able guidance and visionary leadership of Respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Anita Nanda, and efficiently coordinated by Mrs. Seema Bhatia and Mrs. Suman Sharma, the dedicated Organisers and Coordinators of the Primary and Secondary Blocks. The celebration truly reflected the glorious journey of the institution, highlighting commitment, discipline, culture and excellence.

The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, invoking the divine blessings of Maa Saraswati. DAV Gaan and the School Gaan created an atmosphere of devotion, patriotism and institutional pride.
Respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Anita Nanda, delivered an inspiring address highlighting the school’s glorious legacy, its remarkable journey of 31 years of excellence, commitment to value-based education and the outstanding achievements of students and staff. Her motivating words inspired students to dream high and strive for excellence.
A beautifully conceptualised cultural programme enthralled the audience. The highlight of the evening was a soul-touching thematic play based on “Prayer, Effort and Achievement,” portraying the inspiring journey of a girl named Angelina, symbolising every LJNDAV student who grows through values, perseverance, confidence and success.
Graceful dances, vibrant performances and the DAV News Bulletin showcasing the institution’s milestones further enriched the celebration.
The honourable Chief Guest and distinguished dignitaries appreciated the discipline, talent, creativity and confidence displayed by the students. They praised the visionary leadership of the Principal and the tireless efforts of the teachers in providing holistic education and shaping future leaders.
A heartfelt Vote of Thanks was proposed, expressing deep gratitude to all dignitaries, Principal Ma’am, organising team, staff, parents and students for making the programme a grand success.
The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, filling every heart with patriotism, pride and joy.
